Started in 1844 by Oliver Damon
and completed in 1847 by his son Lowell, it is Wauwatosa's oldest
residence and stands as a classic example of a colonial home. given
to the Society in 1941 by sons of Alexander Rogers, a former owner,
it has operated as a museum since then.
